Ground flaxseed with inulin

Ground flaxseed is obtained from high-quality flaxseed. It is ground to improve the absorption of the essential nutrients in flaxseed. We offer ground flaxseed with inulin in 250 g vacuum packs. The packaging protects the ground flaxseed from the oxidation process and extends its shelf life. After opening, store in a closed container in a cool place.

The product is high in fibre, protein and Jerusalem artichoke flour, which contains inulin (soluble fibre).

Inulīns ir dabīgs saldinātājs, ko iegūst no topinambūra vai cigoriņu saknēm.

Inulin is a natural sweetener extracted from the roots of Jerusalem artichoke or chicory.

The concentrate obtained from Jerusalem artichoke grown in Latvia contains inulin, a fructose polymer that serves as a food source for good bacteria in the intestinal tract and also promotes the development of probiotic bacteria. This in turn leads to improved digestive function, lower blood cholesterol levels and reduced risk of osteoporosis. Inulin is also a dietary fibre that can absorb and eliminate various harmful substances from the body.

Ground flaxseed is a rich source of valuable nutrients – Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, minerals, soluble and insoluble fibres, proteins and lignans (natural substances found in plants with phytoestrogenic and antioxidant properties), which is why flaxseed is particularly recommended for menopausal women. Studies have confirmed the beneficial effects of flaxseed on the body and its functions. According to research, it stabilises the digestive system due to its soluble and insoluble fibre.

Application:

  • add 1–2 tablespoons to kefir, yoghurt, buttermilk or fruit juice;
  • sprinkle the ground flaxseed on salads, pizza, sandwiches or fruit smoothie or other dishes;
  • bake flaxseed bread and make a variety of pastries.

After use, close the package carefully and store it in a cool place!

Nutritionists recommend incorporating ground flaxseed into your diet. It is a nutritious and healthy natural product.
