Iecavnieks processes oilseeds – rape, flax and hemp. Processing produces unrefined oils, which are obtained by cold pressing, mechanically compressing the seeds and performing a high-quality filtration process.

Cold-pressed oil, unlike hot-pressed refined oil, retains all its bioactive substances, natural vitamin E, colour, smell and taste, as the seeds are not processed at high temperatures and no refining chemicals are used. The process of producing oil without residues yields forage cake, which is a valuable source of protein.

Iecavnieks & Co manages more than 500 hectares of farmland, growing winter oilseed rape (Brassica napus 00 and 000), winter and summer wheat (Triticum aestivum), fodder beans and flaxseed (Linum usitatissimum).

Iecavnieks pioneered the cultivation and marketing of winter and summer oilseed rape in Latvia. All owned and rented land is cultivated with owned agricultural machinery under the supervision of experienced specialists.

We guarantee our grain suppliers and partners the constant accuracy of the Infratec grain analyser and the objectivity of the grain analysis. Grain testing takes place during the grain receiving, storage, unloading, drying and cleaning processes.
