Hearty breakfast sandwiches with cottage cheese

Cottage cheese is another protein-rich product to start the day with. Hence this recipe for hearty breakfast sandwiches.

Ingredients:
Cottage cheese
200 g
Greek yoghurt
50 ml
Avocado
1 medium or 2 small
Fine rye-bread
2 slices
Iecavnieks rapeseed oil for frying
Green sprouts
Iecavnieks hemp butter
Salt to taste
Preparation:
  1. Heat the rapeseed oil in a pan and fry the bread slices. Fry until golden on both sides.
  2. Mix the cottage cheese with the Greek yoghurt. Add salt to taste.
  3. Peel the avocado and cut into thin slices.
  4. ‘Build’ the breakfast sandwiches. Smear a slice of bread thoroughly with Iecavnieks hemp butter, top with a thick layer of cottage cheese and then avocado, sprinkle with sprouts.
